‘In March 2007 the Móbile payment platform M-PESA commenced in Kenya and by 2011 there were 17 million subscribers on this single platform powered by Kenya’s SafariCom. The same year we witnessed health care insurance wrapped on fractional Grameen Bank micro loans to 300,000 women in the largest slum in Sub-Sahara Africa, Kibera, Nairobi.’

‘What if’ tens of millions of small boutique farmers are able to receive similar enhanced reward beyond the $dollar exchange for their ‘low impact’ crops, and simultaneously ‘What If’ we place QR codes on our millions of retail food products, telling the transparent story of the source of ingredients and rewarding consumers co-opting  in to conscious choices of eating and drinking to reduce fossil fuels.

IfCo is currently planning out a ‘user base’ Exchange Network for its farming vendors, customers, consumers and other exchange stakeholders on the Blockchain platform. The initial functionality is to reward both consistent delivery of crops from farmers  and a 1% gross selling to consumers of ‘low impact’ retail goods. We are guided by a brilliant co founder in Tel Aviv of the cryptocurrency aggregator platform, Bancor.
